What Can Reflections Detox Facility Do for You?

At Reflections Recovery Center, we provide alcohol and opiate detox treatment. Our program provides living space and a stand-alone detox facility, both just blocks away from each other in Prescott, Arizona. Each person admitted to Reflections will go through our detox facility for an initial assessment regardless of substance. This may include opioids, alcohol, meth, cocaine, and crack.

Reflections Recovery Detox Facility is a five-day program, with the option to extend as needed for each client. When each person is assessed, Reflections will determine if detox is necessary, what to utilize for detox, and whether to extend detox. Our detox center will help to get you through the worst symptoms, wean you off the substance safely, and help you maintain sobriety after.

What to Know About Your Time at our Detox Center

Here at Reflections, we also frequently see clients who will be dealing with pill addiction and benzodiazepine (benzos) withdrawal. Benzos can include xanax, klonopin, and valium among many other types. Benzos are drugs that can be prescribed legally and work when monitored correctly, but use of them can turn to abuse over time. They are used to treat a variety of issues, including anxiety and insomnia. Tolerance can build up over time which can lead to addiction.

Withdrawal symptoms will vary for each substance and we will treat accordingly. As detox is required, many substances may require a taper with proper medical oversight. Reflections will prescribe medications as necessary during the taper process, but will also apply non-medical treatments when medication is not necessary or the client does not want to take medication. For substances like benzos, tapering may be a necessary and integral part of withdrawal. Alcohol withdrawal medication could also be necessary depending on the severity of alcohol addiction.
